Youin’s 18 day Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake Trek makes you feel the presence of heavenly nature. The circular route of the trek covers almost all popular destinations of the Annapurna region.


Annapurna Circuit trek is a “classic” journey in the Annapurna region. And when merged with the Tilicho Lake Trek, the fun doubles. The Circuit Trek takes you through the high altitude range. During the trek, you need to pass over 5,000 meters high passes. The journey begins as you pass through the paddy fields of the lowland and ends as you explore the deserted area of Manang.


Tilicho Lake at 4,919m is the highest altitude lake in the world. You walk through the lush and stunning subtropical countryside suited right over the moraine. One passes through the alpine forests, multiple high passes and along the arid cliffs. The trek can be challenging but equally thrilling and adventurous.


Tilicho, Muktinath, Nilgiri, and Khangsar, are some mountain peaks visible around the lake. Their image reflected in the cold, and clear turquoise waters look beautiful. And of course, the views of the Annapurna ranges accompany the trekkers throughout the whole trek.


The trail is covered by the natural carpet of brown leaves. The thick subtropical vegetation of Rhododendron, Oak and Pine will make you feel lost in the wild. Occasional encounter with the rear Himalayan wildlife will add the fun. The magnificent mountain peaks always stand tall and solid in the front.


The drastic change in the landscape and climate will make the trek adventurous. As you stay in the local tea house, you can live the life of mountain people. Trek Overview:

The Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake Trek commences with a drive from Kathmandu to Chamje village. This trek starts as you head to the village of Manang. Then we walk to the West towards the village of Khanshar, and Shree Kharka. The walk takes us to Tilicho Base Camp and finally to Tilicho Lake. Then we walk back to ShreeKharka, before getting to Chuli Ledar and then Thorung High Camp. We cross the pass of Thorung La suited at the elevation of 5,416m.  After a tough walk through the pass, we walk to the Kali Gandaki Valley. Then we walk through the beautiful valley of Muktinath and finally to Jomsom. This is where our trek comes to the end. The drive from Jomsom takes us to Pokhara and then back to Kathmandu.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

Upon your landing at Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel in a private vehicle. During the drive, you can enjoy the view of Kathmandu City. In the evening, we enjoy a welcome dinner of excellent Nepalese cuisine. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 02: Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley

This day, we will take a sightseeing tour around the valley. Many places that are marked as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. We will visit some of them during the trip. First, we will visit the Pashupatinath temple. This is a famous Hindu temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The beautiful temple is located on the coast of the Bagmati River. After that, we will visit Swayambhunath. This is famous as the Monkey temple that is placed on the hill. We will also visit Boudhanath. This is another popular Buddhist stupa of Nepal, also the biggest one. And finally, we visit Patan Durbar Square. Patan Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Square in the valley. The Square allures its visitors with its beautiful cultural and historical monuments that are carved with unique art and architecture.   Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 3: Drive to Chamje village, 7 hours (1,430m)

Before we begin the trek, we need to reach the village of Chamje. After we get our permits and load all the required equipment, we will begin our drive. First, we leave the valley as we drive along the bank of Trishuli River. We drive on a private jeep or bus. Approx 7-8 hours of driving to Chame village is scenic and fun. We get to enjoy the pleasant drive with the countryside scenery. The distant mountain vistas appear closer as we arrive at Chamje. In the evening, you can stroll around the place and explore the village in your leisure time.   Overnight in Chamje Village

Day 04: Hike to Danakyu, 5 hours (2,300m)

Moving ahead from Chame, we walk towards Danakyu. Danakyu is a village situated at the altitude of 2,300m. Then, we will pass along Bagarchhap. The trek takes about an hour as we pass along the fir and pines. Walking through the shades will make the tour easy. After some rest, we will walk along with a white-coloured monastery. At Danakyu, we can witness eye-catching views of mountains like Mt. Manaslu and Peak 29.  Overnight at Danakyu

Day 05: Hike to Chame, 5 hours (2,670m)

Today, we walk for about 5 hours to the village of Chame. On the trip, we can witness a well-known Dudh Khola. The river flows from the South face of Mount Manaslu. As we walk through the Fir woods, you might get to witness some exotic wild animals. Then, you stop for lunch. A few hours of the trek takes you to the district headquarter of the Manang district. Chame is a beautiful settlement that lies on the shore of the River.  Overnight at Chame

Day 06: Hike to Upper Pisang, 5 hours (3,300m)

Today, our destination is Pisang. This village lies at the altitude of 3,300m above sea level. The journey begins early in the morning as we witness the amazing view of mountains like Lamjung Himal (6,893m). We can see the first rays of sun falling right above the stunning peak. On the path, a marvellous waterfall is seen over Brathang Village. The walk then takes us to the village of Pisang. Pisang is suited in the front of the Pisang peak. Besides the Pisang peak, we can also witness the view of Annapurna II. Moreover, we can see a beautiful Mani wall suited next to the bridge above Pisang.  Overnight at Pisang

Day 07: Hike to Ghyaru village & Trek to Manang, 6 hours (3,540m)

Today is a long day of the trek. First, we will trek to the village of Ghyaru from Pisang. On the way, we can witness a fantastic view of peaks like Annapurna II and III. Then, we stroll towards the village of Manang. The entire walk takes more than six hours. On the path, we walk through the breathtaking trail full of the grasslands. Manang is a famous village in the Annapurna region. The village is known for its unique settlements of the Himalayan people. The stay will bestow you with the amazing view of the Annapurna range. Day 08: Rest Day in Manang village

After a week of walking, our body demands some rest. And with the increasing altitude, we must get acclimatised. After a rest day in Manang, your body gets properly accustomed to the higher altitude. And, Manang village is the ideal place for the stay.    Although it’s a rest day, it’s important that you remain active throughout the day. Thus, we can explore the village during the day. We can spend the time as we explore Gangapurna Lake. Also, there is a mountaineering school in Manang village that gives basic mountaineering training. The views of the Himalayan Vistas are also equally prodigious.    Overnight at Manang

Day 09: Trek to Siri Kharka, 5 hours (4,060m)

Today is an easy day as we walk for about four to five hours. After breakfast in the morning, we head through the western gates of Manang and follow the trail down to the river. After we cross the river, we hike towards the South. After some walk, we reach the village of Kangsar. From Kangsar, we further trek to Siri Kharka. On the path, we will also visit a monastery. The trek to hilltop can be tiring. But once you reach the top, the views of mountain vistas like Mount Chulu and Gungan Himal is stunning. Overnight at Siri Kharka

Day 10: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp, 6 hours (4,140m)

Our trek from Siri Kharka begins early in the morning. Our destination for the day is Tilicho Base Camp. Today’s path is very steep and can be very exhausting. So, we must begin the trek early in the morning. The walk along the narrow paths can be thrilling and adventurous. The beautiful stairs of the rock are going to make the trek fun. Day 11: Trek to Tilicho Lake (4,949m) and back to Siri Kharka, 6 hours

This is the most important day of our trek. This day, we trek to Tilicho from Tilicho base camp in the morning. The ascent to the top is both thrilling and difficult. But the views of grassland with yaks and deer grazing can be relaxing. Finally, we can witness the beauty of Tilicho Lake. The lake is suited on the lap of the north of the Tilicho Peak. The Lake has it's important in the Hindu religion. This is called a sacred lake that is featured at holy books of the Hindus. After some time in the lake, our shanks will be relaxed. Then we will trace our route back to Siri Kharka. The path is mostly downhill and easy.   Overnight at Siri Kharka

Day 12: Hike to Yak Kharka, 4-5 hours (4,040m)

Today, we descend to the Khangsar Village. On the path, we pass a monastery called Tare Gumba. This is a thousand-year-old monastery that is important for the locals of the area. In Khangsar Village, we can only witness the occasional herders. Following a rock wall taking outside the Khangsar, we reach the seasonal bridge right above the Thorang Khola valley. After we cross the river, we trek to Yak Kharka. The path is comparatively easier. This is only about four to five hours of walk in the slightly steep path.  Overnight at Yak Kharka

Day 13: Hike to Thorung Phedi, 3 hours (4,450m)

This is another easy day of the trek. Today we walk steadily on the edge and move to the Marsyangdi River. After crossing the river through a wooden bridge we further walk to the top. After the walk through the transversely uneven hill, we ascend towards the Thorung La Phedi. The entire trek is only about 3 hours. And we must rest in the evening so we can prepare ourselves for the tough walk next day.   Overnight at Thorung Phedi

Day 14: Hike to Thorung La Pass (5,416m) and Muktinath, 8 hours

Today, we begin the trek early in the morning. First, we walk downhill to the Marsyangdi River. After crossing the river with a wooden bridge, we walk on the right bank of the river. After that, the path turns slender as it moves crossways. Then, we take a path down to Thorung La Pass. The walk to the top of the hill is steep and tough. But the view from the edge is stunning.  After some rest, we walk down to Muktinath. This part of the trek takes about 5 hours. Muktinath means God of Salvation. The temple of Muktinath is regarded as a holy place for Hindu as well as Buddhists. Besides exploring the temple, you can observe the water that flows from 108 stone taps.  Overnight in Muktinath

Day 15: Drive to Tatopani, 5 hours (2,700m) 

Today, our trekking days comes to the end. As we move from Muktinath, we reach the valley of Kali Gandaki. After passing the settlements such as Khingar, we reach Jharkot. Jharot has different typical Tibetan architecture. On the entire journey, the magnificent views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri accompany us. The landscape of Muktinath is also distinct and beautiful. Then we walk further through the apple orchards to the Marpha village. After we explore the beautiful Marpha Village, we will trek down to Jomsom. From Jomsom, we will drive to Tatopani in Jeep. The drive along the shore of the Kali Gandaki River is scenic. Once we reach Tatopani, we can take a bath is the natural hot spring. The water heated by nature itself will release you from all the pains and aches.   Overnight at Tatopani

Day 16: Drive to Pokhara:

In the morning, we will enjoy the beautiful views of Tatopani. If you wish, you can again take a bath in the natural hot spring. After breakfast in this beautiful place, we will drive to the valley of Pokhara. First, we drive to the place called Beni and then to Pokhara. The total drive is about four to five hours. The off-road drive will be adventurous. In the evening, you can explore the beauty of this city. Pokhara is Nepal’s most beautiful touristic destination. You can enjoy boating in Phewa Lake or simply stroll around lakeside. Do not forget to enjoy the nightlife of Pokhara.   Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 17: Drive to Kathmandu, 8 hours 

After a memorable time in the city of Pokhara, we will drive towards Kathmandu. The drive on a tourist bus takes about 8 hours. The trail along the bank of Trishuli river is scenic. On the trail, you pass multiple small settlements and temples. In the evening, you can spend your time shopping around Thamel. Here, you can purchase different classic gifts for yourself and your loved ones. Thamel is also famous for its nightlife. In the evening, we will gather together for the farewell dinner. We celebrate our successful journey for the last time. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 18: Departure

Today, you can enjoy your last breakfast in Kathmandu. As per your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the Airport. Our representative will leave you at the airport three hours before your flight schedule. Waving a final goodbye to the country of Himalayas, you can head for your next destination.
