Imagine standing in the front of mighty Himalayas as the first ray of sun falls upon them. The white reflection of snow changes into golden colour. Your body and mind can feel the warmth of the rising sun. Sunrise is always mesmerising. But with the background of Himalayas as you stand in the hilltop, it’s even more prodigious.

Annapurna Sunrise Trek is a rewarding and easy trek for travel enthusiasts. The trekking route is similar to Poon Hill Ghadruk trek. The trek bestows city heritage tour, panoramic Mountain View, and the pristine natural scenery. The views of mountain peaks such as Annapurna I, II, III and south, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre, Lamjung Himal, etc accompany us throughout the trek. The villages like Ghandruk and Ghorepani are blessed with a unique culture. The sub-tropical vegetation of Oak, Pine, maple, and Rhododendron makes the trek even more beautiful. And if you are lucky, you might also spot some wild animals in the forests.

Annapurna Sunrise Trek covers only a short distance within 10 days. So it’s relatively easier than other treks to the Himalayas of Nepal. People with all levels of trekking experience can complete the trek. Anyone with a sound health condition can go for it. The highest altitude during the trek is about 3,100m. So there are fewer chances of altitude sickness.

The trek is beautiful from March to May (Spring in Nepal) due to the colourful bloom of flowers. September to November is the most crowded months as the weather is stable and views are clear. Winter trekking during December to February is also prodigious if you love playing with snow. Monsoon trek can be quite difficult due to slippery paths but it’s equally rewarding.
