Nepal, the beautiful Himalayan nation has many prodigious trekking routes. Among many such destinations, one of the extremely rewarding places is Langtang Valley.

It is a narrow valley in the south of the Tibetan border and north of Kathmandu. The proximity to the capital makes the region easily approachable. The natural and cultural beauty of the place captivates thousands of tourists each year.

Langtang trek includes exploring areas such as Langtang Valley, Gosainkunda, and Helambu. The three major destinations of the trek offer great variation in nature, ethnic groups, and culture.

This trek merges the visit to the remote and beautiful valley of Langtang with the high held mountain lakes such as Gosaikunda. Similarly, you get to climb the small peaks and explore the holy lakes situated in the lower elevation.

Gosainkunda premises have other pristine lakes to visit Ganesh Kunda and Saraswatikunda, These lakes carry an important belief among Hindu people.

Thousands of Hindu people from different parts of the world visit the lake as a pilgrimage site.

The Rocky and snow capped mountains peaks and the hours of a walk along the alpine and rhododendron forest will amaze you. Along with that, one gets to witness wildlife and nature like never before.

The pristine environment and the serenity of the place will ease all of your worries. You get to visit the holy lakes, beautiful waterfalls, and the opportunity to bathe in hot springs.

Langtang region trek offers excellent views of Himalayan ranges including Ganesh, Gaurishanker, Langtang, Annapurna, Rolwaling range, Manaslu, and even Everest on a clear day.

This journey is pleasant and exciting with enough time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas.

The region of the trek falls into Langtang National Park. Thus, one gets to explore the unique biodiversity of the place. The region homes the subtropical vegetation for the most part.

In some parts, you will also witness the rear alpine vegetation. You get to encounter some rare animals such as Red panda, the Himalayan black bear, Musk deer, and Pika during the trek.

The Langtang region is inhabited by Tamangs and Tibetans. They share a similar taste in religion, clothing, and language. You also get to explore the very interesting villages of Sherpas and learn about their lifestyle.

As you live in the typical tea houses, you get to interact with them. Getting to learn about the culture and lifestyle of the mountain people is one of the biggest plus of the trek.
