Trekking through the sub-tropical vegetation of Nepal as you witness the massif Himalayan ranges in your front is a beautiful feeling. Mohare Danda trek is one such short trek in the Annapurna region that bestows you with stunning views.

The 11 days Mohore Danda Trek takes you to the height of 3300m. From the top, you can witness the prodigious Himalayas views of Pokhara Valley.

Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and the top of Mt Manaslu can be seen. Phewa Lake and World Peace Stupa including other landmarks are visible. The stacking and piling of green hills to the south-east makes the mesmerising moments.

Mohare Danda Trek is a recently popular trail as a result of the local community.

This Trekking Trail creates different new destinations such as Mohare Hill, Bans Kharak, Lespar, Suntala Kharka. Danda Kharka, and Nagi Village.

During the trek, you will not only experience the prodigious beauty of the Himalayas but also support the sustainability of the local community. You will stay in a community-based lodge or home-stay.

Through the 10-day adventure, you trek to the local villages and get to interact with them.

The itinerary is perfectly designed for you to learn about the unique culture of Nepal and its lifestyle.

Also, you can witness the lush sub-alpine vegetation. The forest of Pine, Rhododendron, Oak, and Maple accompany us through the trek. If you are lucky, you might spot some wild animals during the trek.

Trek overview:

The journey to Mohore Danda begins in Kathmandu. After brief sightseeing in Kathmandu, we drive to the beautiful city of Pokhara and then to Bani.

This is where we start the trek as we pass Bans Kharka. We further trek to the village of Nagi before we reach Mohore Danda.

After making some prodigious memories, we either trek to Upper Fulbari or Danda Kharka. Then we walk to the village of Tikok and then to Baseri.

This is where our trek comes to the end. We drive back to the city of Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.

Important Notes

1, Mohore Danda is a challenging trek. But walking through the steep mountain trail demands a good level of fitness. Every day, we will spend about 4 to 5 hours on the hike. Therefore, having sound health is important. The trek is prodigious throughout the year.

2, Autumn ( September to November) is obviously among the most crowded months. The colourful blooms of the flower make Spring (March to May) trek beautiful. Since the trek is confided to lower altitude, winter trekking is also prodigious. Snowfall is only occasional and contributes to the fun. The trek is also possible during the monsoon (June to August). During monsoon, you need a flexible itinerary.

3, The tour price is not included extra night accommodation in Kathmandu in case of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain (due to any reason) other than the scheduled itinerary.
